About Me

In her early twenties, Julia Roos began exploring meditation and presence. In 2015, while in university studying psychology, she experienced the sudden loss of her father, leaving her searching for a way to process grief. A single breathwork session became a turning point. As she surrendered into the breath, energy began to move through her spine and body, and emotions she hadn’t realized she was holding began to surface. She cried, laughed, and felt waves of release move through her entire being. In that space, she connected with her father’s spirit, found peace in his passing, and discovered the profound power of the body and breath to release stored trauma and tension. Julia was struck by the realization of what was possible in a single session; this experience inspired her lifelong dedication to helping others access their innate healing abilities.

Following this transformative experience, Julia became a certified Breathwork for Trauma Release Facilitator and a Licensed Massage Therapist. She focused on body-based modalities to release trauma stored in the fascia and nervous system, while continuing to draw on her love for psychology and spirituality to understand how the mind, body, and spirit are interconnected. She blends breathwork, integrative and intuitive bodywork, movement, meditation, energy work, and subconscious reprogramming into sessions that help clients release long-held tension and emotions, creating a safe and nurturing space for them to soften the body’s defenses and uncover the healed, whole self that has always been there beneath the layers of protection.
